The girls are coached by LeAnn Nuss and Lisa Quintanar. The group has already been busy this year, participating in Universal Cheer Association Camp, visiting Camp Scott, performing at the Festival of Hope, and appearing in the Oregon Trail Days and Tabor Days parades. The girls are looking forward to another great school year, and hope to support not only Minatare sports teams, but all Minatare competitors from the actors and actresses in one-act to the musicians in band and chorus. They also would like to continue to build relations with their surrounding community and to promote sportsmanship in all competitions. The girls also focus alot of their energy on the Nebraska State Cheer and Dance Competition each February. In the past 3 years, the Minatare High School Cheerleaders have been fortunate enough to bring home numerous State Championships; they hold 2 State Hip-Hop Titles, (2008 and 2009,) and 2 State Non-Tumbling Cheer Titles, (2009 and 2010). This year's squad hopes to uphold this tradition in 2011, and plans are already in the works for their hip-hop and non-tumbling cheer routines. If you'd like to know more about this year's squad or past squads, look the Minatare Cheerleaders up on Facebook!
