Mr. Shawn Seiler

Mrs. LeAnn Salas
I teach nothing. I'm the high school secretary.

I was born nearly 123 years ago on a blustery, cold December day in the back of a covered wagon on a tiny farmstead north of Minatare.  I graduated from this school 113 years ago.  After I decided i was done with college ( it was really hard to get there with the horse and carriage every day,) I started working here 109 years ago. ( I look really good for my age huh?)

Seriously though, I've been everything from elementary secretary to special ed para, and right now my main job is as Minatare's High school secretary. I'm also the varsity cheerleading sponsor and student council sponsor. My favorite job here is cheerleading sponsor. I've been lucky enough to have some really great groups of girls to work with, including this year's squad, who have been a lot of fun so far. I'm also a free-lance writer and photographer  for the Gering Courier. I try to get as much press for us as I can since I think we have a really great school with wonderful students, teachers, and staff.

Likes: Rooting for the Minatare Indians, Dr. Pepper, Halloween, Husker football and volleyball, and funky watches (I like big, bulky ones in crazy colors) And my birthday is coming up!!

Dislikes: Getting the mail after 3 day weekends, the ever-growing pile of lost-and-found junk in my office, 100-degree weather, and insidious patches of black ice in the parking lot.
